  • How do I sign up for a CSA membership, and what are the payment options?

    Signing up for a CSA membership is easy! Simply visit our website and navigate to the CSA section. From there, you can choose your desired share size and delivery options, then proceed to checkout. We offer flexible payment options, including credit/debit cards, SNAP/EBT and Double Up Bucks.

  • Can I sign up at the store?

    Yes! A member of our team can walk you through the process during regular retail hours.

  • How do I get help with the price of food?

    Please contact us by phone, email, or drop by the shop. The Local Co-op accepts SNAP benefits and has an in-house financial aid program supported by private sponsors. We will do everything possible to ensure equitable access to the food our members produce

  • How does SNAP/EBT and Double Up Work?

    You have the option to purchase your shares for a 4-week delivery period. The SNAP card will be charged for the first 2 weeks, and for the remaining 2 weeks, you can use Double Up Bucks. You may use SNAP to purchase any food items available in the store. For specific information on approved items that can be purchased with Double Up, please contact us.

  • Can I split the cost of the transaction between my SNAP and Credit Card?

    Yes, you can split your order payment between your SNAP benefits and a credit card. The SNAP portion will cover eligible items, and the remaining balance (if any) can be paid using a credit or debit card.

  • Will I be able to see the balance of my SNAP benefits?

    Yes! You’ll be able to see your EBT balance on your order confirmation.

  • I'm a member...How do I log in to my account?

    To access your account, click on the "Member Log In" button located at the top right corner of our website. Enter your username and password, and you'll be directed to your account dashboard where you can manage your membership details.

  • Can I pause or cancel my CSA subscription if needed, and what is the refund policy?

    Absolutely! We understand that circumstances may change. You can pause or cancel your CSA subscription anytime by logging into your account and adjusting your membership settings. Please refer to our CSA Policy for more details on cut-off times.

  • I pay with SNAP…How can I put my share on hold?

    You can still put your CSA share on hold if needed by not entering your PIN number for the weeks you want to hold. You will not be charged for any weeks your share is on hold, and it will not affect your EBT billing. If you’re unsure of how to do this, just be sure to let us know in advance so we can adjust your account accordingly!

  • What does it mean to “Sponsor” a share?

    As a sponsor, you would be buying a CSA share for a community member who may not otherwise be able to afford it. This is a great way to give the gift of fresh, local food to a community member in need!

  • What types of produce are included in the CSA shares?

    Our CSA shares typically include a diverse selection of seasonal fruits, vegetables, herbs, and sometimes other farm products like meat, eggs, or honey. We strive to provide a variety of fresh, high-quality produce in each share.

  • Are there additional costs for specialty items or add-ons, and how do I order them?

    Occasionally, we offer specialty items or add-ons for an extra cost. These might include items like nuts, coffee, honey, or additional seasonal produce. Right now, you can pop into the shop for any add-ons or specialty items. We are working our updating our website to make it easy for you to add these items from your account dashboard. Sign up for our email list below to be the first to know when we make updates!

  • How often do I receive CSA shares?

    CSA shares are typically distributed weekly but we also offer Bi-Weekly distribution.

  • Where and when can I pick up my CSA share?

    Pickup locations and times are specified during the sign-up process and will be communicated to you upon registration. Take a look at our Pickup Locations page for more details. We strive to provide convenient pickup options at various locations in the community, but if you’re not finding a location that works for you, please let us know! Help us bring access to fresh, local produce closer to you!

  • What happens if I miss a CSA pickup?

    We understand that life happens - If you miss your pickup window, please reach out to us as soon as possible to arrange an alternative pickup time or location. If you will be out of town or unable to pick up your share, kindly notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Unclaimed shares will be donated to our Food Bank partners and are non-refundable.

  • Can I still pay with my SNAP card in person?

    YES! If you don’t feel comfortable using your SNAP card online, you can select the “EBT (Pay in Person)” payment option at checkout. You’ll simply bring your EBT Card with you to your pickup.
